BLACKFISH TOURNAMENT

SUN., OCTOBER 18, 2015

7:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

Contest will be held rain or shine.  Fishing will start at 7:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m.  ALL ENTRIES MUST BE WEIGHED IN BY 2:00 P.M., NO EXCEPTIONS.

Entry fee is $25.00 per person.  Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded based on the weight of the blackfish recorded for each contestant.   The largest fish for each angler will be recorded.   One prize per angler.

Registration will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the GBYC, or on Sunday, October 17th, from 6:30 – 7:00 a.m.   All fees will be collected at registration.

Calcutta:  $25.00 per person.  There will be a separate prize for those contestants entering the Calcutta.  The Calcutta participant weighing in the heaviest blackfish takes the entire prize.  Calcutta fees will be collected at the registration times above.

Lunch(hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, pickles, beer, soda, water) is included in the entry fee and will be served immediately after the conclusion of the weigh-in.

Disclaimer:  The contestant, in consideration of participating in the fishing contest, expressly waives all claims of any nature whatsoever against the Greenwich Boat & Yacht Club, Inc., and its officers, trustees, contest judges and committee members.  The contestant further understands and agrees that all decisions of the judges and/or committee members in matters pertaining to this contest are final and binding on all contestants.

In addition, the GBYC tournament committee and/or the GBYC Board of Trustees shall have the right to cancel the tournament, at its discretion, in the event of severe and/or inclement weather.  In such case, the tournament may or may not be rescheduled.
